US Navy F-8E VF-162 The Hunters
Academys release has detailed cockpit and landing gear. The kit
can be assembled with air brake open or closed. It features
various weapons, features finely scribed panel lines and
accurately defined rivets. Cartograph decal included.
The US Navy Fighter Squadron 162 was established in 1960. In
1965, this squadron of air superiority fighters was upgraded to
F8E Crusaders. The F8E Hunters were deployed to Vietnam.
