This 1/72 scale tank is a pre-built, pre-painted plastic, Stug
III Ausf. F & F/8. The Ausf F entered production in March of 1942
as an assault gun and tank destroyer. It was produced until
December of 1942 with 359 units produced. The Ausf F was then
replaced by the Ausf F/8, which was armed exclusively with an
L/48 gun. The Ausf F/8 was produced until December of 1942 with
334 total units produced. This hand assembled and painted model
has extreme detailing throughout, rubber tracks, and intricately
molded accessories which include an tools and spare rubber
wheels. Painting and markings are unique to the Abteilung 201,
1942. A unique, full-color nameplate is included in this
magnificently detailed model. Unlike diecast metal, finer detail
can be molded in plastic, and this Easy Model "Platinum
Collectible" tank is sure to be a valuable addition to any 1/72
scale collection or diorama.
