Description

The Landing Ship, Tank (LST) was created for amphibious
operations during World War II. The LST could carry 300 troops
and 60 vehicles and drop them direction on shore without docking.
Its design proved essential during the D-Day invasion. This
authentic model is more than 16 inches in length. The new lidded
box displays artwork from vintage release. Collectors will want a
copy just to display. The decals and painting instructions
included enabling the modeler to choose from several authentic
variations.
