First proving itself in the Spanish Civil War, the Soviet T-26
tank was the most numerous tank in the Soviet armies on the eve
of the Great Patriotic War. While they had also performed well
during the Soviet invasion of Poland in September of 1939, the
Winter War with Finland from December 1939 to March of 1940
proved that it's design was now obsolete.
