Description
The 1st operational US dedicated night interceptor, and 1st
specifically designed to employ radar - extended nose 'B'
variant. Kit has crisp engraved panel lines and rivet detail,
well-appointed fuselage interior sections (including pilot's
cockpit, gunner's station and aft radar operator's cabin),
SCR-720A radar set, fully represented R2800-65 twin-row radial
engines (with choice of open or closed cowl flaps), ventral
cannon (x4) and weapon bay, dorsal turret with interior housing
and streamlined fairing, crew boarding hatches, detailed wheel
bays, wing leading edge intake ducts, drop tanks (x4), filigree
antennae, individual propeller blades, transparent radome nose
and cowlings, separately molded control surfaces and flaps, vinyl

parts (tires, hoses, ammunition belts), white metal parts (nose
weights, undercarriage struts) and photo-etch parts (including
seatbelts, spoilerons, intake vanes and engine baffles). Decals
