Description

This re-issue from Lindberg presents the U.S.S. Hazard (AM-240)
Admirable-class minesweeper. Minesweepers were used extensively
during WWII to escort larger craft as well as patrol duties. The
Hazard earned three battle stars during the war where she
escorted convoys from San Francisco to Pearl Harbor before
sweeping the waters of Okinawa near the war’s end. She also
performed post-war duties around Korea and Japan. She now sits as
a museum in East Omaha, Nebraska. The kit features every detail
of the vessel and includes water slide decals and a pictorial
instruction sheet.
